This was the day the Salford Disability Forum were concerned with youth issues at Eccles College for disabled people. It is good there is support out there, but a pity it was not there when I lived in Eccles after my accident! by Jonathan Thomason

Life was so good, the future was mine!
Then it got up and stamped on me!
The car accident took away a third of my brain,
but all of my new life in London. In time it took my marriage.
Walking I relearned, love is harder the second time around.
Now I fly all over the world, but my heart is here.
With the nurses and carers that put my broken body back together.
My brain has mostly recovered, and so I film
I am a video reporter, reporting on Salford.
Reporting on those who give life back to the broken.
Who will be there, should ever you need them!
